Yasonia is an open world RPG that focuses on story-telling and fluid gameplay. The RPG aspect of the game will give players drastic ways to finish the game. This allows players to actually choose how the story goes. There will be lots of different endings and countless ways to play (yes, even pacifist).
[DONE} = This means that the feature is already in the game, fully functional.
[WIP} = This means Work In progress so the feature is not fully functional YET.
[PROMISED} = This means that i haven't started working on the actual feature yet.
Features:
-Fully functional Transmog system where you can pick different skins for armor and weapons. For example the ability to equip a skin for the player's Right Shoulder and a totally different skin for the Left Shoulder. [DONE]
-Different weapons like hammers, swords, daggers, and spears that do different things ( Hammers deal an Area of Effect damage and have a long cooldown, Swords deal a smaller AoE damage in front of the player with a medium cooldown, Daggers have no cooldown and can hardly hit 2 targets at once and spears behave more like swords but reach way further allowing players to kill enemies from a safe distance. ) [DONE]
-Fully functional skill and magic system, allowing players to send big explosions, summon allies, teleport, buff or de-buff certain things with different wands giving special buffs to specific abilities. [WIP]
-A large scale story with different endings [DONE]
-Some unique armor pieces that grant a specific ability while not taking up an ability slot. For example, a boot that on top of being an armor piece that gives DEF, it grants the player the ability to double jump. [WIP]
-Crafting via work-bench [WIP]
-Fully functional potion brewing [WIP]
-Fully functional meal cooking that gives more basic buffs and a cheap alternative to potions in early-game [WIP]
-The ability to buy player homes and decorate them [PROMISED]
-The ability to DYE armor skins to whatever color you want via a dye-bench and dye items. [PROMISED]
-Custom animations(walking, idle, sprinting, jumping) for One-Handed Light, Two-Handed Heavy, and Spear types of weapons. [DONE]
-Animation chaining system that allows the player to attack with different variants of the equipped weapon's animation type. [DONE]
-Parkour-related things like jumping, moving platforms, speed boosters, etc [WIP]
-Certain set buffs for wearing several pieces from a single armor set. For example, you might get Iron Will buff if you wear at least half of the iron armor pieces. [PROMISED]
-Fully functional REPUTATION system with most of the factions in Yasonia, allowing players to lose and gain new content. For example, if you do bad things to faction A, faction B will like you and you might have access to a unique merchant that sells unique weapons. You might also get access to some side quests related to faction B. The opposite of this will be possible too and there will be AT LEAST 5 major factions and many more minor factions, not just A and B. [PROMISED]
NOTE: Some of you may remember that I originally made 90% of these features even the promised ones like buying a house, reputation, cooking, brewing etc, but I decided to restart the project with a very detailed armor system that would allow me to add transmog system and a very detailed player model that would allow me to fake skeletal animation(which worked).

LuckyBoyAK In the future, I'll make a short video about that when I have more armor and skin sets. Currently, there are only a few sets.

I just finished the Strength damage scaling of the melee weapons. Here is the showcase video. This video shows the damage of 3 weapons while having 0 STR and 1000 STR. : :

Hello, i just finished Magic scaling which means that when you have more Intelligence, you will deal more damage and when you have more max MP, you will deal a little bit more damage. Also, in this video, im testing the limits of the game by having 530 speed, 1k mp regen, 1k hp regen, 1k mp and 1k INT. Too much speed breaks the animations but that is okay for the time being. I'm considering capping speed at 500 (which will be hard to reach). Also, you can see the fall damage system working here.
This is a new sword that i made. I'm trying different ways to create interesting visuals so this was one of my experiments. Video itself is a bit laggy due to video compression.
