  • Yes, i was going to ask the same question. Is this update (excluding the workshop features) coming to epic games version?

    • Kman replied to this.
    • I also posted a bug report about random white flickering a year ago. It is still in the forum.

    • I encountered all these bugs at the same time so i was able to record it. These visual bugs need more attention since every single game that i make, big or small, has one of these bugs that ruin the quality of the game and i can't fix it since it is engine related.

    • The inventory widget is different. You have to set up an inventory that is not using the game's default inventory buttons. When you hover your mouse on an item and close the inventory, the widget that shows info about the item stays there.

    • Does the issue occur in the editor or during gameplay?
      gameplay

If it's a gameplay issue, please specify which movement system and camera type you're using (free movement vs. grid movement, third-person vs. first-person) or N/A if not applicable:
free movement and third person camera

Briefly describe the issue you're experiencing:
When the player gets hit too many times or at the same time, the hit effect gets bugged and player character continues to move as if he is getting hit. Also when you reset a map and load the map with npcs with less than full health and visible health bars, the health bars sometimes gets bugged

Are there any errors in the in-game debug console or external console window?

Provide the steps necessary to reproduce the issue:
1- make a game with enemies that shoot projectiles every second.
2- make multiple of those enemies and shoot them back as if you are fighting
3-load a different map and afterwards, reset the previous map and load the previous map back
4- repeat this at different speeds and different times until you see many bugs

Provide a download link to the bare bones project (strongly recommended if it's an in-game issue, since this helps significantly when attempting to reproduce it; the report will also be given more priority in this case):

    • You can already do that. You can either set up a timer that automatically changes animations into their other versions or (the better way) make it so that when an enemy gets hit, or dies etc, a script rolls a random number and depending on the number, you can change animations.

      • Finally, i was able to make a "LUCK" system where the amount of randomly generated loot increases depending on the player's luck. In the first part, i open tier 1 and tier 2 chests with the base luck and in the second part, i increase my luck and reset the map to reopen the same chests.

      • Extra information: the effect is slightly transparent. Maybe that is causing the bug.

      • Image description: there is a swirl effect on the staff and as you can see, the ground is shown on the effect instead of after the effect. The ground has flat images. I will provide more screen shots to explain the situation

free movement and third person camera

Briefly describe the issue you're experiencing:
When the player has an effect attached and infront of a flat image, the game shows the image on top of the effect regardless of the location. I put flat images on the ground to make the illusion of a detailed ground and when i equipped my staffs and other items that use effects, i realized that they weren't there until i moved my camera and looked away from the ground(images).

Are there any errors in the in-game debug console or external console window?
        no

Provide the steps necessary to reproduce the issue:
1- make any effect and put that to an object
2- make a flat surface with a flat image that is not following the camera
3- attach the object in game to the character.
4 angle yourself so that you see the ground with the images
5- try to see the effect on the image.

      • @Sarah 's "well" asset fits nicely 👏 Thank you Sarah for this free asset.

      • I also remade most of the swords so that their models are more detailed but i'm not going to post them now.

      • All of them have unique animations, sounds and fighting styles.

      • New swords

      • New bows

      • New spears
