You'll be happy to know that interaction cursors will be coming to free movement in the future, specifically as part of RPG in a Box 2.0. 🙂 They currently aren't supported since there's no mouse interaction/navigation functionality in free movement yet (e.g. clicking on a tile to move there or clicking on a sign to read it), however I'll be integrating pathfinding and related logic during the move to Godot 4.
