First of all, thank you very much for an awesome 1.1 update! So many cool new features. I’m still exploring and experimenting with them 🙂
Grid-based range attack update is great for 1st person view, but if 3rd person view is used it might be not very convenient.
Basically, you have two options for range attacks in 3rd person grid-based game:
1) Old one - click on your enemy to shoot. But if your enemy is moving, it’s very easy to missclick the ground and move instead of shooting.
2) New one - use CTRL to shoot. But in this case you can’t shoot diagonally and you can’t rotate your character without moving.
Maybe it would be more convenient to shoot not in the direction character is facing but in direction of a cursor? However there might be alternative solutions to this case.
