Recently, Justin stated that Monthly Showcases would be pausing for the time being.
These showcases have always been a great way to spotlight the creativity and hard work of the community — and rather than let that stop, I’ve offered to take over organizing them in the meantime.
Starting in August, Monthly Showcases will return, hosted right on the forum, but also on the community discord server.
My goal is to keep the spirit of the showcases alive, and giving your projects the visibility they deserve.
Here’s how it will work:
📥 Submitting Your Work
A temporary submissions thread will open each month where you can share either screenshots or short videos of your projects. You’ll also be encouraged to include project links so viewers can easily check out what you’ve made.
🧹 Media-Only Policy
To make reviewing and compiling content easier, the submissions thread should ideally be media-only.
That means:
. No replies or conversations
. Non-media posts will most likely be removed
🎬 The Final Showcase
Once the submission period ends:
. The submissions thread will be closed/deleted.
. A showcase video will be created featuring community submissions from both Discord and the forum.
. All final videos will be archived in a permanent, read-only thread, so you can always go back and watch or share past
showcases, as well as being archived and available on the Discord server.
This cross-platform approach aims to strengthen the connection between the server and the forum, and give a wider audience the chance to see what everyone is working on.
More details will be shared when the August showcase officially opens.
In the meantime, get ready — and start thinking about what you’d love to show off! 🙂
