Puh, I'm happy it's not my problem. I can understand you. - It's sad. And a new name isn't easy, too. First, you need to re-build a new IP and leave the old one behind you. Feels crazy, too. And I'm sure some don't will like it... and ask themself already, new name... new product? - Now new buy-action required for 2.0 you know? 🙂 I see already the trouble of it.
I came here for the RPG in the title... and of course expected feature like this. Then it went into another direction. And not into my expectations of a new engine like this one which the Fallout/Elder Scrolls Games use. - Maybe I was naive here.
Less or no new RPG-stuff but so many more for other genres. And now it's more a mix of other genres. And still this RPG in the title... and the expectations of it. Yeah... not an easy one. I'm too deep inside, I have no new name for it. But I like the slogan you made of RPG. And yes, if you don't want to go into this direction of roleplay-games only... there is now the problem in the title and not only this. And of course, the new slogan will go under with RPG, because people expect something else than this... This three letters are too strong bounded for the roleplay-term. And the engine could support here more for it. (like item-details we see in many games with more lines/details and own editor-area or local .vs. global item property. Currently only global what is a problem when you want to add an item durability-system, because you change all items in the game not only these in the inventory. (shops too)) I hope you add this one day and more for RPG-games. But we got so many other cool stuff... and I use them for my other games, too. 🙂 And I'm very happy about them. But yeah, not a nice situation with this now.
