Hello,
It’s about a "bad sorcerer" roaming a dungeon after the "good heroes" destroyed and killed stuff. The player has to heal the skeletons, gobs, slims etc, based on some injuries (broken, cut, burned, frozen...). So basically, it would be a "reverse combat system" : instead of removing Hitpoint, the player gives hitpoints to the target, and uses items and/or skills to fix ailments. That’s the main speech.
I’m going for a first person dungeon crawler, that’s the "yes i’m certain" part. Not sure however if i’d like to go with real or turn based, and free or tile based movements... Ludus Mortis, or Daggerfall, style, i can’t decide yet...
I think, the player would have to clean some part of the dungeon to gain some resources, like moral, will, guts... Kind of Mana or Energy... Then he could spend this to heal the "bad guys".
I’d like to find a no-combat gameplay loop, without being too boring, and without puzzle, and without any lines of dialogues. Only some signes or drawings, like +, =, >, !, etc.
However, gore and blood and pain and scream and all that good stuff, yes.
