Maybe you're working on this already but I figured I should say it anyway! As an animator, the way in which we currently animate is rather frustrating, and makes the workflow clunky and needlessly complex, especially after coming from other programs who use a standardized format across all of their interfaces. In my opinion, the animation process is one of the biggest things holding back this program from being one of the absolute best out there for indie devs.
Implementing the standard Timeline format found in animation and video editing software would be amazing. The user could create individual frames, then selecting an animation to work on would create its own window side by side with the model viewer, containing the respective timeline. The user should then be able to drag or define each frame within the timeline, and view the animation in the viewer. This type of workflow would prevent mistakes and make editing animations far easier and user friendly. Let me know what you think! I provided drawings to make my explanation a little easier to understand.
