Apologies, for that word salad of a title, lol. wasn't sure how to make a short condensed version of the issue for a title. 😆
Does the issue occur in the editor or during gameplay?
If it's a gameplay issue, please specify which movement system and camera type you're using (free movement vs. grid movement, third-person vs. first-person) or N/A if not applicable:
Briefly describe the issue you're experiencing:
Renaming an Attach Point, (Example: From Red
to Blue
), and then naming a brand new Point to the original name of Point A (in this case, Red
), will cause what ever object that is assigned on Point A (Formerly Red
, now Blue
), to swap to the new point, Point B (Red
).
Are there any errors in the in-game debug console or external console window?
Provide the steps necessary to reproduce the issue:
- Create an object.
- Put an attach point if you like, but it's not required to produce the bug.
- Make another object, and add an attach point (we'll call it Point A)
- Rename Point A
- Create new attach point, and Name it the original name of Point A.
- Observe.
