Does the issue occur in the editor or during gameplay?
Widget Editor
If it's a gameplay issue, please specify which movement system and camera type you're using (free movement vs. grid movement, third-person vs. first-person) or N/A if not applicable:
N/A
Briefly describe the issue you're experiencing:
NOTE: This ONLY affects new widgets made in the current session.
Pre-existing custom widgets made prior will be immune to this peculiarity.
When you make a new widget in the Widget Editor, and enable the Close Button, you can actually click it!
Doing so, removes the elements and widget background, leaving the wire frame showing on screen.
To bring back, use the drop down to switch back and forth from/to the affected widget and it will be reverted back to normal.
From this point on, the "X" button is no longer clickable.
If you make the widget, add the "X" button, save, and reload the project, it behaves as normal.
It only happens with a widget you are making in a current session.
Are there any errors in the in-game debug console or external console window?
No
Provide the steps necessary to reproduce the issue:
- create a new widget
- Show Close Button
- Click it! 🙂
- click drop down and select built in widget
- click drop down and select new widget
- try to close it now - shouldn't work anymore
-
If you repeated steps 1 and 2, but saved and quit back to Project Manager, reloaded the project, step 3 would no longer work, and behave more like step 6.
