Developer Menu (Trainer)
This video will walkthrough the concept of creating a Developer Menu for your games using the widget editor.
While some may view things like Trainers as cheats, these sorts of menus are quite often found in games during development to aid developers in testing aspects of their games while the game develops and starts to become larger and more complicated.
This video will talk about the importance of such a menu for game development, followed by briefly demonstrating an example Developer Menu made using the Widget Editor.
Such features as:
. God Mode
. One Click Kill Entity
. Load any map
. Give Any Item, including amount
. Manage Quests (start, complete, fail)
. Set/View Global Properties
. Open the Debug Console from widget
Each script is explained so if you wish to implement such a system in your own games you will be able to do so.
