Briefly describe the issue you're experiencing:
I have an animation triggered via script. The animation is set to clamp but as soon as a dialogue box opens (also triggered in the script), the animation will break and return to idle.
Are there any errors in the in-game debug console or external console window?
nope
Provide the steps necessary to reproduce the issue:
- Create an animation set to clamp
- have an object execute a script on collision
- the script should trigger the animation
- add a wait() to the script (in my case 1 second is enough as at that point the animation is already over and on the last frame)
- trigger the dialogue after the wait
- the animation returns back to idle as soon as the dialogue box opens - completely ignoring it
