Briefly describe the issue you're experiencing:
Once Credits have played and you are returned to the main menu, if you click new game again and load into the startup map, none of the widgets work. (Inventory, Equipment, Quest Log).
I found this out while testing a widget based main menu as after the credits, none of the show_widget functions in the startup script showed anything anymore so had no menu!

Provide the steps necessary to reproduce the issue:
- Play a game
- Run show_credits()
- click New Game again
- try and open inventory, equipment or log widgets
5 try using show_widget() to show them

I can provide a project if necessary however I just tested in a blank starter project and as long as you show credits and then click new game again in the same session, the issue presents itself even with the built in widgets.
