It would be really handy to be able to assign a custom property to type array in the UI, kind of like how display choices UI has it.
I've been trying to think of an easy way to assign certain map elements to certain sets, for scripts to check.
One way would be to use tags, but those can only be set on the model directly, not a per map instance.
So the only other way I could come up with was to give each object a single property that could contain different data per map instance...however...like tags, it needs to contain multiple identifiers so as to exist in multiple sets.
Obviously groups exist, and are one way of doing this, but in this particular scenario, would require many groups and it would be nice to have one single group, and a check if the entity in the group has a matching tag or property.
As you cannot currently create arrays in the UI, it would require a extensive amount of startup lines, each setting a enity that would then need an ID, to set an array property on it.
Would be cool if 'array' was an option, as that would mitigate such labour. 🙂
