The August Community Spotlight is now open, and everyone is welcome to begin submitting their screenshots and videos in this thread!
This thread will remain open for the duration of August to give everyone time to share what they’ve been working on with RPG in a Box.
On August 22nd, I’ll be selecting from the submissions and curating them them into a spotlight video to highlight the amazing things the community is creating with RPG in a Box.
This is a great opportunity not only to share your current projects, but also to promote what RPG in a Box is capable of!
Once each submission period ends, this thread will be removed.
This event is also happening over on the Community Discord as well.
The culminated spotlight video at the end of each month will be a presentation of both communities works.
You may also notice a new thread titled Community Spotlights, which is currently locked. That’s where I’ll be posting all the monthly spotlight videos for everyone to revisit and enjoy.
Please keep this thread for submissions only.
Keeping it focused on media submissions helps the event run smoothly. This thread will be moderated to ensure it's media-only.
With all that said, I (and no doubt Justin as well!) am looking forward to seeing all of this month’s submissions.
Your creativity and participation are always greatly appreciated.
Let’s continue to show the world the wonderful games you’re making! 🙂
Instructions for submitting:
. Reply to this thread and attach the image(s) and/or video to your post using the "Upload" button on the bottom toolbar.
. Images must have a 16:9 aspect ratio and should preferably be 1920x1080 in size, with a minimum of 1280x720. The easiest way to take a screenshot is to press F12 while in your game. The screenshot will be saved in your system's "Pictures" folder under a subfolder for the game, e.g. "C:\Users\Justin\Pictures\My Game".
. You can also provide a short video highlighting a cool part of your game. This should be in MP4 format and no longer than 30 seconds.
.For each project, include the title of the game and the name you'd like to be credited as, and if you have a itch.io page or a forum project link, feel free to provide that too for others to easily find your project.
. Games can be at any stage (anything from ones released in the past, to ones being actively worked on).
. You can submit multiple images per game or for more than one game. The images should ideally be ones that have not been included in previous showcases. Also, please note that there's no guarantee every image submitted will make it into the spotlight, but there's always the next one!
. Submissions are due by August 22nd, at which point the thread will be locked. I will make an announcement soon after, when the spotlight video is ready!
