It would be cool if the ability to either attach a saved camera position to an entity/player was added, or some sort of "camera" object entity that could be placed into the map editor.
Would allow for some custom camera setups where designers could position a camera from its viewpoint and then when it's in the correct place, attach it to a character or player so that it moves when they do.
Could have multiple positions acting as different camera angles to switch between.
Mainly, the ability to be able to position the "game camera" by looking through the camera would be a really nice QoL feature if nothing else.
Maybe when moving to Godot 4. 🙂
