Does the issue occur in the editor or during gameplay?
Both? Editor? The crash comes after testplay ends, and kills the editor.

Testplay almost never crashes for me, except when I have a very large/complex/detailed map with a lot of tiles, objects, etc. open in the editor, then visit that map in test-play, and then quit from testplay while on that map

No. It seems to freeze for a while before suddenly just failing.
Provide the steps necessary to reproduce the issue:
Make a big complex map.
Leave that map open in the editor.
Testplay the game.
Go to that map in the game.
Quit the game from there.
It only happens occasionally, even on repeated attempts with the same map, and I don't know the cause.
Provide a download link to the bare bones project (strongly recommended if it's an in-game issue, since this helps significantly when attempting to reproduce it; the report will also be given more priority in this case):
