The terrain type of a tile is a property that determines whether or not it can be traversed by an entity. For example, any water-related tiles (e.g. rivers and oceans) could be assigned a terrain type of “water” both to prohibit characters or land vehicles from entering those tiles and to restrict watercraft to them.
1) Terrain type for a tile in the Voxel Editor. Terrain types defined for tiles will be available to choose from when setting up the terrain type for a character or vehicle.
